Named systems, and what is actually wired.

A name on a catalog card is a place to attach a metric. It is not a claim that a live connection is already open.

The custom catalog lists IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ / JMS, Kafka, and Apigee, plus a database query and a file on a host. Kafka is consumer lag. Apigee is proxy traffic, latency, and errors. The numbers show up under Custom in the metric browser. A script, or HTTP, JMX, or Prometheus, can define one more.

Custom extensions, including Kafka for consumer lag and Apigee for proxy traffic, latency, and errors.

ServiceNow

ServiceNow is wired. A URL, a username, and a password are enough, and ServiceNow CI values become tags on hosts, namespaces, and clusters. BMC Helix, Device42, and Jira Assets use the same form and are not wired yet.

Problems can notify Email, Slack, Teams, PagerDuty, a webhook, ServiceNow, and ServiceNow ITOM. That list is the channel picker in the product.

Vault

Secrets that the product stores today are sealed in the built-in vault. A normal read returns a mask. CyberArk, HashiCorp Vault, AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, and GCP Secret Manager are marked Coming soon on the Vault page.
